(Editors note: What a great story. I had to post this!)
I am from Central Butte Saskatchewan where I live on a ranch with my partner. I farm with my two sons. My role is the cow boss although this year we decreased from over 300 cows to 63 so I’m somewhat retired! I have ridden my whole life except from 43 to my late 50’s because after my husband passed away suddenly my life was too busy to enjoy living if that makes any sense! I ended up with too skinny, too tall, unsound Jake. At my age, I wanted to find an area that I could keep learning, keep riding and compete! Western dressage fit the bill! Now Jake will be showing Level One and trying Level 2 in 2023.
