Canadian National Championship

New for 2025 the top five scores from each Level will be invited to compete for Canadian National Champion!

Where is it held?

An opportunity to reach for the top in Canadian western Dressage. Top five  test scores will be invited to battle it out for the Champion position. Will it be best in the West? or Excellence in the East?

To be held as a virtual competition under WSDAC virtual rules. Competitors will ride one test predetermined by the organizing committee to be judged by three WSDAC Judges for a combined score that will determine the champion.

Open to all WSDAC members. All Divisions will be eligible for a spot at each level. Qualifying period is January 1- September 15th, 2025. Only the highest scores over 60% in each level Virtual and Live will be considered.

How is it run?

The five highest ranking horse and rider combinations per level will be invited to compete. To accept an invitation an entry fee of $50 will be required and a competition number will be issued to the rider. There will be no substitutions allowed and no refunds. Minimum combined score of 65% must be achieved to become the Champion.

Please note, deadlines for submission must be adhered to. Any deviations will void the invitation to compete. No exceptions or extensions.

Invitations issued September 30th, 2025

Entry fees due by October 15th, 2025

Videos to be done October 1st-21st, 2025

Video Acceptance to October 30th, 2025

Placing announced November 30th, 2025
